Something Fun for Baby

Baby Levi is sitting so well now.  From rolling, to scooting on his back, to now scooting on his belly...he's figuring it all out! Being the baby of 3, he often is placed on the floor to play solo while I tend to the other 2, who demand mommy's attention...pretty much all day! 

A few days ago, I changed things up a bit and let Levi play in the kitchen with me watching and preparing breakfast, while Savannah and Noah played together in the living room.  There was a bowl of rice along with some little toys left out on the floor from the day before when I had given it to Savannah and Noah as an activity.  Levi found it quickly and I happened to think it was a fabulous idea! 

 Meanwhile....

 I love how they both are holding on to their "build-a-bear" animals...oh and yes, the cushions from the couch are on the floor. It's much more fun this way! 

I'm ok with this...really, I am. =)

Field Trip to the Fire Station!

Thanks to our friend, Blair, we had the great opportunity to visit the Royall Avenue Fire Station a few days ago.  We missed a few of our MOPS friends...but still a great time!  Thank you so much, Blair for inviting us along.  Savannah wants to be a "fireman" when she grows up! =)

As soon as we arrived and got up close and personal with the big, shiny, red truck...Savannah couldn't help herself but to climb up onto the large step and have a seat.  The very nice fireman seemed to be "used" to this kind of thing as he welcomed her to explore the big red truck.  

Noah preferred the gadgets!  (Just like his daddy) I think he pressed every button...and there were tons!

 I told her to give me her "serious, fireman-look."

Noah didn't talk much, but he loved this spot of the truck!

 Each of the children were given a hat...even Levi. =)

Such a great field trip! We'll definitely plan to visit again.

Happy Father's Day!

He's the daddy who shows up at the mall for his little girl's 4th birthday to surprise her...with balloon in hand.

He's the daddy his little boy looks up to (and looks just like!).

He's the daddy who leads by example and always shows his children how much he loves them.

He's the daddy his little boy runs to when he's hurt.

He's the daddy upon who's strength his baby relies.

And he's the daddy these 3 LOVE!

And this mama sure loves you too.  Thank you for working so hard for us, for loving us, for EVERYTHING you do for our nest.  You are simply the best.
